To All, our Bill has been set for a hearing on April 11, 8am. It is the last one on the list but that does not mean we will be last bill heard, as they take up bills in any order the chairman chooses.
We need as many shop owners and managers as we can get to come to Austin to sign up in favor of the bill. We will have three witnesses to testify, there will be staff from the Texas Department of Insurance to answer questions about the bills effect on policy holders, complaints, etc.
DRESS CODE, a suit, company uniform or business attire, we need to present ourselves as professionals.
There is a La Quinta at 300 west 11th, walking distance to the capitol, 512-476-1166, there is also one at Ben White Blvd(Hwy 71) and Riverside Dr. 512-386-6800. There are many others to choose from. There are state parking garages on the east side of capitol. If you have a concealed hand gun permit you do not have to go through the security check you just show your permit.
I will meet everyone that can come at 7am on Tuesday April 11 at the East Entrance of the Capitol. The meeting notice is attached.
