Helena Brown City Council for District A
Dear Fellow Auto Repair, Body Shop Owners and Managers:
In 2012, the City of Houston tried to pass new regulations on our shops that could result in new requirements for paperwork and fines starting at $500 per paperwork violation, plus hundreds of hours of lost shop time due to delays in processing customer work orders. Helena Brown, Council Member of District A was one of leaders in City Council who truly helped us in fighting Chapter 8-22. She assisted us greatly in speaking out, organizing public meetings to these regulations that would have been bad for shop owners and bad for our customers. As the City continues to look for new ways to tax and regulate businesses, we cannot let down our guard. That's why we are asking you to join us in supporting our friend Helena Brown for Houston City Council District A.
Please join with us, other shop owners and managers by supporting an upcoming fundraiser on October 10 at 6:00 p.m. To make your contribution by credit card, please click on the link below.
Help us join together with one loud voice to protect our businesses, our way of life, and the interests of our customers by supporting Helena Brown for Houston City Council District A and please forward to your associates so they can ahelp with their support.
